Mr. Gorgen has twenty years of experience in building envelope design, construction, and investigation. He has been responsible for the evaluation and design of a variety of roofing systems, waterproofing systems, EIFS and stucco wall cladding systems, decorative and ornamental sheet metal cladding, and glass curtain wall and skylight assemblies.

Mr. Gorgen is experienced in management of all phases of construction related to the building envelope. Having served as a consultant and project manager at some of the Midwest’s most respected consulting engineering firms, he has provided services for a wide breadth of clientele, including some of the most prestigious universities, prominent museums, insurance companies and several of America’s Fortune 500 companies.

As a Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT), he has conducted hundreds of infrared surveys and investigations of roofing and wall cladding systems. Mr. Gorgen is a long-time member of the Roofing Consultants Institute (RCI) and has earned their highest levels of certification, placing him with an esteemed group of less than one hundred professionals in North America.

In his down time, Nick enjoys autocross racing, photography and videography.
