Jacob Bartels, RRO, CDT

Jacob has been in the building industry since 2017 and started working for RCL in 2020. He earned his Master of Architecture and Civil Engineering degree at the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana. Jacob is pursuing his architectural license and plans to take the ARE (Architectural Registration Exam) by the end of 2021.

Before joining RCL, Jacob worked for a glazing contractor and developed an extensive knowledge of storefront and curtainwall systems. His interests go beyond just glass; Jacob is fascinated by all aspects of construction from conception through completion. He enjoys being in an industry that is rapidly changing as technology advances.

When he’s not working, Jacob spends his time tinkering with DIY projects and computer gaming. During nice weather, he loves to play soccer and Frisbee golf.
