Jake Peterson, PE
Professional Engineer
Jake Peterson excels at understanding complex projects and solving highly technical problems. He also very much enjoys working with clients on their buildings’ issues and meeting and exceeding their expectations. He says that the sense of accomplishment of an efficient and comprehensive solution to tough problems gives him his highest motivation.
Jake came to RCL in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, both from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Pre-RCL, previous job experiences gave Jake the opportunity to collaborate with other building professionals on numerous highly successful projects, among them the Hudson Yards Development in New York City and Camping World Stadium in Orlando, site of the Citrus Bowl.
Jake brings to his work an appreciation for existing structures and the numerous ways previous engineers have gone about creating solutions for problems in the building environment. He looks to how his designs can maintain a structure’s value or add to that value.
In his free time, Jake enjoys family time, woodworking, do-it-yourself projects, hunting and auto racing and is active in his church. Additionally, he volunteers as a divisional technical/safety scrutineer for amateur road racing with a national motorsports organization.
